Chavhanga, who donned the green and gold jersey on four occasions, still holds the South African record for the most number of tries scored in a Test match – six against Uruguay in East London in 2005.

The Late Tackle team of Morgan Newman and Anton van Zyl opens the show by looking at the All Blacks’ performance and discuss possibilities of why they are head and shoulders above the rest of the rugby world.

Van Zyl, though, gave credit to the Argentineans for the way they have improved under Mario Ledesma despite the defeat to the world’s best.

The Springboks’ performance takes centre stage around 08:31, where the team looks at all the potential reasons as to why they have been performing poorly – including questioning whether they have the correct management and playing personnel.

Chavhanga, who could run the 100 metres in 10.27 seconds, speaks about the importance of raw speed in the modern game at 21:41 and makes a few interesting points about the topic.

The former Cheetahs, Stormers, Lions and Sharks wing then sinks his teeth into the fading aura of the Currie Cup, before sharing his thoughts on SARU president Mark Alexander’s announcement that a few more South African teams may be heading to Europe.

The show closes out with the Zimbabwean-born flyer taking a swipe at Peter de Villiers, who failed to deliver on the promise of a spot at the 2019 World Cup
