Farrell makes his move
On a weekend of low scoring – that is in our Super 14 ‘readers versus staff prediction game’ – the big movers were Steve Farrell and Rudolf Mehl.
They top-scored with the ‘massive’ totals of six points each – out of a possible 12 – in a weekend where the bookies were laughing all the way to the bank.
For the rest of us it is a weekend we’d rather forget.
Farrell moved up into third place with his ‘strong’ performance, while Mehl is now joint fourth. Both these gentlemen would have been much better placed had they no failed to hand in their predictions in Week One.
They are certainly making up some lost ground.
The battle between defending champion John Granger and Johan Greyling at the top of the standings was a stalemate. They both got four points and Greyling maintained his one-point lead over Granger.
