WATCH as World Cup-winning Springbok Handre Pollard opens up about his life, injury and reports of his ‘big’ income.
Pollard, speaking to retired Boks Jean de Villiers and Schalk Burger in the ‘Use it or Lose It’ series, reveals how his recovery from his knee surgery for an ACL tear is progressing.
He confirmed that the long road till his return in April or May next year has started and said the recovery is “going well”.
It means that – unless there are unexpected complications – he will be available for the Lions tour in July next year.
He also spoke about the reports of his reportedly ‘big’ salary with French club Montpellier – which reportedly makes him the highest-paid player in the world.
He touches about finally being back in Cape Town for an extended period for the first time since school.
