Joost's favourite XV
South Africa's most capped player of all time, scrum-half Joost van der Westhuizen (89 Tests), chose the best players he had played against in his long and illustrious career. Van der Westhuizen made his debut against Argentina in 1993 and finished his career at the 2003 World Cup. He played in three World Cups – in 1995, when the Boks won the Webb Ellis Trophy, in 1999 in Britain and in 2003 in Australia.
Inspired by the immaculately coiffured All Blacks and the sartorial splendour of their team-mate Gavin Henson, Wales props Duncan and Adam Jones – aka the hairbears – decided to undergo a makeover and Gillette duly obliged.
As the Official Male Grooming Partner of the WRU, Gillette showed the boys how their extensive product range can help them look their best. Mission accomplished?
As you can see, his 'favourite' XV is a very, very formidable lineup! Rugby365 publish the team with kind permission of Rugby News/Rugby Nuus magazines. You can visit their websites at Rugby News and Rugby Nuus for more info. (The magazines are also available at major new agencies [CNA, PNA, etc.] and supermarkets.)
