As the news broke of World Cup winner Warrick Gelant moving back to the Cape after leaving the Bulls, we thought we’d remind you about that time he literally kicked some sense into a teammate.
Back in 2016 Gelant attempted to boot the ball upfield, however, Serfontein was not aware of what was going on behind him and assumed the position, bringing some comedic relief to everyone watching.

Blooper aside, Gelant believes his move will enhance his game.
“I can’t wait to join up with the Stormers and I’m very excited about what the future holds. I want to take my game to new heights and I believe that working with the players and the coaches at the Stormers will help me to do that,” he said.
