S14 Round Six Predictions

It is that time of the week again, when we venture out into the dangerous arena of Super 14 predictions. After last week’s round of shockers by our resident ‘experts’, we are hoping for some more accuracy this week!

With Johan Greyling and John Granger still holding a comfortable lead over the chasing pack, and the halfway stage of the competition approaching, such poor results could be costly.

Greyling is still the leader in our ‘readers versus staff prediction game’ with 39 points, followed closely by Granger (38).

However, while one point separates the two top boys, the rest are looking to close the six-point gap – with Steve Farrell (now on 32), Phil Coetzer, Rob Peters and Rudolf Mehl (all on 31) waiting to pounce on any errors by the leaders.

Closing the gap will remain a challenge as for the next six weeks two teams will have a bye – meaning there are only six games to score in!
