Craven Week 2018 at Boishaai
Unsurprisingly, rugby will form part of the celebration.
One of the big rugby celebrations will be the Craven Week at Boys' High in Paarl in July 2018.
The great school has a lot to celebrate in many aspects, including rugby. For the last three years, Paarl Boys' High's 1st XV has been clearly the best 1st XV in South Africa.
They have also much to celebrate in the great players who have come from the school, inducing Boy and Fanie Louw, Ryk van Schoor, Mannetjies Roux, Carel du Plessis, Corné Krige, Gurtho Steenkamp and Frans Malherbe – and a dozen more.
As has become the custom. The Academy Week will be hosted along side the Craven Week. The two weeks will run from 8 to 14 July 2018.
The dates and venues have also been set for the other Youth Weeks next year.

There are changes. Perennial strugglers, Border Country Districts, will not be sending a team to Craven Week next year but will be sending one to the Academy Week. The same is true for Griqualand West Country Districts, Eastern Province Country Districts, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
The Blue Bulls, the Golden Lions and Western Province will provide Invitation teams for the Craven week.
As a result of the changes, there will be 18 teams at the Craven Week and 28 at the Academy Week. This year there were 20 teams at Craven Week and 24 at the Academy Week.
