Eastern Province play Golden Lions in main match

Eastern Province play Golden Lions in the showpiece main match of the 2005 Craven Week in Bloemfontein on Saturday. The main match is reserved for the teams regarded as having performed the best at Craven Week, which is why many see it as a final.

Both these teams thoroughly deserve to play in the final. Both are unbeaten. Eastern Province drew with Western Province and beat KwaZulu Natal. The Golden Lions beat Free State and then the Leopards.
