Four Puma Teams
The Mpumalanga Rugby Union has chosen four teams for National Weeks – the Under-18 Craven Week, the Academy Week and the Grant Khomo Week.
In the Craven Week side there is a bit of a surprise with eight players from Hoërskool Middelburg and just two from HTS Middelburg and five from Nelspruit. During the season both HTS Middelburg and Nelspruit were convincing winners over Hoërskool Middelburg – HTS 41-26 and Nelspruit 34-10. But Hoërskool has more than HTS and Nelspruit together. In the three teams for which their players were eligible Hoërskool Middelburg has 19 players
Of the players in the 2015 team Telvin Mhlongo, Siyabonga Khaliswayo, Cyprian Nkomo, Nfundo Ndlovu and Crisjan Steynsburg were in the 2014 Craven Week in Middelburg
