Griffons choose provincial sides

Griffons open their Craven Week campaign on July 11 against the Pumas. While the Academy team go up against Eastern Province on Day one of the Academy Week.

In terms of school representation in the Craven Week team, Welkom Gimnasium are dominating the selection with a total of 11 players in the team. While in the Academy their have five players and six in Grant Khomo.

Not having a great 2015 Craven Week, Griffons hope that this year their luck will change despite fielding a relatively inexperienced team.  

The only one who is back from last year's Craven Week is Marko Labuschagne, who has been chosen for this year's Craven Week team.

While Ruben Breedt, David Essen, and Winrich were part of the 2015 Academy Week team have been drafted to this year's Craven Week side.

Last year's Academy Week team who have been selected again for this year's Academy team are Sakkie Mollentze, Liam Heemro, Dylan Stiemmie and  Dylan Aploon
