Griffons gear up to soar at Youth weeks
Griffons kick-off their Craven Week campaign against Griquas Country District in the opening match of the showpiece on July 17.
The Academy week will run concurrently with the Craven Week at St Stithians College in Randburg. Griffons will have two teams representing the province; Griffons Academy side and Griffons Country District side.
The Griffons Academy lock horns with the Sharks CD on July 17, while the Griffons CD Academy take on SA LSEN team on July 18.
In the 23-man Craven week team, six make a return from last year's side. They are Truimph Boloyi, Jason Wagman, Jan Meades, Dealine Jafta, DJ Hatting and fullback Andrew Qamani Kota.
While Verlyn van Vollenhoven and Regard Smalberger have been drafted to this year's Craven Week side from the 2017 Academy side.
The Craven week team will be coached by Welkom Gimnasium head coach Roean Bezuidenhout.
