Griquas Country for Craven Week

Griqualand West Country – the old North Western Cape – has chosen its team for the 2012 Under-18 Craven Week in Port Elizabeth starting on 9 July.

Seven of the team went to the 2011 Craven Week – centre Adriaan Uys, wing Innocent Ngatajosi, flyhalf Dolf Burden, flanks Jacobus Conradie and Sergio Jones and locks Martin Gerber and Pieter Lategan.

There could well have been one more – Herman Share of Upington – but he went off to Cape Town to play for Bishop and is in this year's Western Province Academy team.

Eleven of the team are from Hoërskool Upington and six from Duineveld.

Griquas Country Districts: Darrel de Wee (Upington), Zavier Assegaai (Upington), Jonathan Steenkamp (Upington), Adriaan Uys (Upington), Innocent Ngatajosi (Upington), Dolf Burden (Duineveld), Johan Lampbrecht (Duineveld), Jasper Wiese (Upington), Jacobus Conradie (Duineveld), Sergio Jones (Upington), Martin Gerber (Upington), Pieter Lategan (Postmasburg), Johan Barnard (Upington), Hanro Visagie (Duineveld), Jan-Hendrik van Wyk (Duineveld), Romario Mguini (Kalahari), Julian Millford (Nababeeb), Michael Pretorius (Duineveld), Shandré Prince (Upington), Shaun Crause (Upington), Gavian Cloete (Concordia), Johannes Lenge (Kathu).
