SA's top U16 schoolboys get a chance to shine

PREVIEW: South Africa’s top Under-16 schoolboys will be in action at the Grant Khomo Week, which will be staged at Grey High School in Port Elizabeth over the next five days.

The prestigious provincial tournament marks the start of the annual Youth Weeks programme.

Twenty teams will compete across the matches staged between June 17 and 21.

The action will commence on Monday morning (SA time), with the Pumas tackling Griquas on the Kolisi Field at Grey High School.

The Blue Bulls, who beat Free State 20-12 in last year’s unofficial final, will face the Western Province XV at 13.40 SA time.

The Grant Khomo Week Opening Ceremony at 15.00 will be followed by a Cape derby between hosts Eastern Province and Western Province.
