SWD select the squads
The South Western District will open their campaign against the Golden Lions in this 53rd Craven Week held in KwaZulu-Natal.
Similar to last year's SWD Craven Week side, the squad consist out of an Outeniqua-Oakdale combination with just three other players from Oudtshoorn, PW Botha and Witterdrift to fill in the gaps.
Giving Outeniqua and Oakdale's current position in the FNB Top 20, it is no surprise the school selectors opt to use majority of the two schools' players. Similar to last year Oakdale boast with 12 players in the Craven Week side, followed by Outeniqua with eight players.
Darylle Kameel and Bradley Kiewits are the only survivors from the 2015 Craven Week team who have been drafted in this year's Craven Week side.
While 2015 Academy team players Xavier Swartbooi and Zinedine Booysen got promoted to this year's Craven Week side.
Dian Bleuler, Nicolai Weber and Louis Meiring who were part of last year's Grant Khomo side, will get a chance to represent the 2016 Craven Week team.
