Valke choose three teams

The Valke have announced three Under-18 teams for the upcoming Craven and Academy Weeks.

The Valke have one team entered into the Craven Week, while they will have two teams competing in the Academy Week starting on June 29 in Pretoria. The two Valke teams will be the Academy-Silver team and the Academy-Blue team.

The Craven Week team is dominated by players from EG Jansen, who have been bubbling just below the FNB Top 20 after an impressive first half of the season.

Centre Morné Stassen of EG Jansen will make his second appearance in the Craven Week after representing the Valke in 2008, while the Silver team’s Philemon Selo (General Smuts) also has Craven Week experience. The Valke kick off their 2009 week with a game against Border on July 13.
