Aliwal surprise Hangklip
In their FNB Classic Clash in Aliwal North on Saturday, Aliwal-Noord beat Hangklip of Queenstown 21-10 where the visitors had been expected to win.
In fact Hangklip suggested early on that they were going to run away with the match when big Morné Hartzenberg took a tapped penalty and burst through, shrugging off tackles to score a try.
Hangklip never recaptured that spirit and though they led 10-9 at half-time, they did not really look like winning a match which Aliwal-Noord deserved to win.
It was a scrappy game
