Another good win for Daniël Pienaar

Daniël Pienaar have come on leaps and bounds this season and follow their victories over Framesby and Grey with a 33-21 over Dale, an attractive match played at a high tempo.

Daniël Pienaar led just 19-14 at half-time.

Dale scored first following a quick tap near the Daniël Pienaar goal-line, but the Tigers struck back in similar fashion to make the score 7-7.

From now on it was a contest between the skills of the Dale backs and the Daniël Pienaar forwards.

Daniël Pienaar went 19-7 ahead with a good try in the corner by the backs and then an intercept for a try.

Pressure from Dale forced an error by Daniël Pienaar which led top Dale's second try.;

In the second half the Daniël Pienaar pack got more and more on top with locks Cedric Nel and Johann Bekker in the van. The forwards laid the platform for the Uitenhage's side's next two tries.

On two occasions Dale opted for the scrum instead of kickable penalties. Just before the final whistle, Dale intercepted and scored.
