Beeld Trophy heads for quarters
Waterkloof, Nelspruit in big wins
Recent results have helped to plot the way forward for teams still involved in Beeld Trophy matches in the three divisions.
The Divisions are Big Schools (10 teams or more), Medium Schools 5-9 teams) and Small Schools (1-4 teams).
When Waterkloof beat Affies, they became the Blue Bulls' champions.
Each province produces its winner sin each of the divisions. The provinces are Blue Bulls, Falcons, Golden Lions, Leopards, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The Leopards do not have a team in the Big Schools division.
There were also competitions in all three categories for Under-16s, Under-15s and Under-14s.
Both Affies and Waterkloof play on their home grounds in the quarters because of the competition rules which has a priority list.
For Big Schools:

There were play-offs where necessary recently to move schools into quarter-finals. Play-offs were needed because six provinces were required to provide eight quarter-finalists. That meant that some runners-up were required to play off to see if they would go into the quarters.
