Bellville win thriller in Brackenfell

Match Report

In typical Cape Town winter weather – cold, windy and raining, Bellville went up the N1 to Brackenfell and beat the home side 25-24 in a thriller. A try at the death won the match.

At the beginning of the game Bellville was leading 10-0, but then Brackenfell scored two tries and at the end of the first half Brackenfell led 14-10.
 
The second half was nail-biting.  
 
Bellville immediately jumped back into the game and scored another try.
 
Brackenfell replied with a try and conversion and later in the game added a drop goal.  
 
Bellville answered with a penalty kick and then secured the game right at the very end with a try.  
 
It was schools rugby at its very best. 
 
The Bellville Lions roar once again!
