Big Outeniqua win

Match report

Outeniqua of George beat Oakdale Landbou of Riversdale 44-10 on Saturday.

There was all the fun of the annual fair at Oakdale but not on the rugby field when they were overrun by=y the powerful Outeniqua machine.

At half-time the visitors led 26-0 and by the end had run in six tries.

This was schools rugby of the highest order. Beating Oakdale on their own field during their fair takes some doing.

Outeniqua's captain and eighthman, Josh de Klerk, had a great game, leading by example. The fullback Wilton Petersen also impressed with his brilliant play. Both of these boys represented South Western Districts at the 2005 Craven Week.
