Bishops host Wynberg

This week is the middle week of the three. In the last week Bishops play Rondebosch and Wynberg play SACS.

Wynberg is the second oldest (to SACS) school in the land. It was actually founded before SACS but then lapsed for a while, refounded after SACS. It takes its foundation date as 1841, eight years before Bishops.

The two have been playing each other since 1920 when Bishops won 6-3. This week's matches will be at Bishops.

Season So Far

Bishops has won seven of its 15 matches, Wynberg just four of 15 in a tough season. A tough season and yet for some players wt will be the brightest time of the years at school. Bishops played against 10 teams on the Top 20, Wynberg eight. They are not afraid of top opposition.

Neither side  is ranked on the Schools Top 20, though Bishops is close after its surprise victory over SACS last week,
