Blouskool - Reinhard Kleynhans

 

Kleynhans believes the lessons he has learnt at the Pukke week for under-19s will help him lead his team against a tough opposition come Saturday.

 

"Representing the Griffons was great, I learnt a whole lot – I learnt how much tougher than school rugby it is!" the captain said.

 

As a captain that leads by example, Kleynhans is excited to enact some of the things he learnt from Middleburg in the hope that his team will lift themselves in their upcoming Classic Clash.

 

The strong running prop is open about his teams poor season, but also goes on to credit their heart and determination.

 

"It has not been the best of seasons for us, but we always do our best and I know that my team backs me all the way, " the captain added.

 

"We are looking forward to Saturday’s game, we have a young, but experienced team.

 

"The younger players are very enthusiastic!"

 

Speaking of his opponents, Kleynhans is well aware of what they can bring, but he also knows that it is the scoreboard that has the final say.

 

"The two schools are always in competition, but after Saturday’s game the scoreboard will determine the true champions.

 

"They will be at their best and we know that it will be a hard game."

 

The experienced captain is also in his third year of first team exposure and has played in the last two Craven Weeks.
