After all Landbou did what Boys' High will want to do in August – beat Paarl Gim. It is not the only tension likely at Boys' High. There is also the unbeaten tag hanging around their necks as they had into the third season of victories in South Africa.
Season So Far
Unbeaten in 12 matches Boys' High are top of the Schools Top 20. Landbou have lost four of their 12 matches but in their last match they beat Paarl Gim 24-15.
At present Boys' High top the Top 20 and Boland Landbou are ranked 10th. They are clearly two strongest sides, often the third in the Paarl trio of Boys' High, Gim and Landbou. When those three schools are involved in matches involving one of the others, no victory is guaranteed. Last year Boys' High beat Landbou 31-24.
