Bulls and Kwaggas clash

The 18 Outeniqua rugby teams will probably not be mesmerised by the scenery on their way west for they know the rugby is going to be uncompromising and the mood on the journey back may well depend on what happens on the rugby field.

They are after all, the strongest teams in the South Western Districts and together make up the bulk of the union's provincial school teams.

Season So Far.

At present Oakdale are ranked ninth on the schools Top 20 while Outeniqua are unranked.

Outeniqua have won and lost five of their matches while Oakdale suffered their first defeat at the hands of Paarl Gim last Saturday – not a big defeat at all, 47-39.

To be fair to the Kwaggas they have played tougher opposition. All of their five defeats were against Top 20 sides while Oakdale have played only two.
