Captain's profile: Allistair Afrika
The flank is no stranger to this match as he has three years first XV experience and knows what it takes to walk away with victory as he leads a team who has been playing together for a number of years.
"The core of the team has been playing together since Under-16 and we know each other really well both on and off the field. We have been won the Classic Clash for the last two years but we know they will always be a threat.
"They will attack us with their forwards because they know they are heavier than us in that department but we know we will be successful if we remain calm, disciplined, focused and stick to our game plan," he said.
Weltevrede have managed to secure seven victories from their eight matches played thus far this season and Afrika is confident his leadership style has contributed to that success.
"I thrive under faithfulness, humbleness and being calm under pressure. As a captain, I motivate and inspire my teammates through our training and games to consistently work hard.
"I think the key to being a successful captain is to have self-belief, be committed, dedicated and have an attitude that rubs off on the rest of the team," he added.
Afrika has always dreamt of pursuing a career in law enforcement and is looking forward to enrolling at the South African Police Services Academy in the hope of becoming an officer but rugby will always be a part of his social life.
