Captain's profile: Andre Kritzinger
Kritzinger was part of the Eastern Province Country Districts Craven Week team in July and will lead a highly experienced team who have had a fairly indifferent season.
"We have not been able to beat them for the last five years but we have the experience this year to be able to grab the elusive win. We have a proud tradition on our home ground and it is never easy for our opposition, so we will be hoping to continue that legacy.
"We have had a mix bag of results this season but those results don't really have carry any weight in this match. This is just one of those matches where the team who wants it more and is willing to give an extra inch for the person next to him, will succeed," he said.
The 17-year-old centre describes his Craven Week experience as "amazing" and believes that experience will allow him to handle the highly physical and fast-paced game that Oakdale employs.
"We know they are a very physical side who loves to spread the ball at pace but I am sure we can front-up to them and give a good account of ourselves. Communication is definitely going to be key in this match and I feel that is one of my strong points as a captain.
"As a player, I love taking the ball into contact with strong carries and hopefully I can set the tone for the rest of the team to follow. This week our focus needs to be on this game and nothing else," he added.
Kritzinger is looking forward to playing overseas once he has matriculated.
