Captain's profile: Daylin Edwards

The 18-year-old was part of the 2014 side who ended New Orleans' three-year winning streak with a 22-13 victory and describes that victory as the highlight of his career.

"Winning the Interschools in 2014 is definitely a standout moment in my career. We head into this match wanting to repeat last year's victory but we know they will give it their all.

"We have an experienced group of players with a few new guys in the team who have all contributed to making this season a great one, despite having mixed results on the field.

"It is such a great honour to lead a team with such great potential," he said.

Edwards will find him in one of the loose forward positions and was fortunate enough to represent Western Province in the 2010 Under-13 Craven Week, a tournament he has fond memories of.

"It was a great opportunity to meet new players from other provinces," he added.

He is looking forward to giving back to his school in the near future, after he has made a success of himself.
