Captain's profile: Duan Terblanche
Leading them onto the field will be centre Duan Terblanche, who is one of just three players who has Classic Clash experience.
"Saturday's team is an inexperienced group with only 3 players who played last year because we have been hit with some major injuries. One of our props hurt his knee, a lock tore his knee ligaments, our flank broke his ankle and our No.8 broke his cheekbone in three places.
"So the season has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride for us after a good start to the season. All those injuries have been tough on the team," Terblanche said.
The Classic Clash between the schools has always been tightly contested, with Langenhoven holding a slender advantage from the 24 matches that have been played between the schools.
"The schools have met on 24 previous occasions. We [Langenhoven] have bagged 12 victories and there has been one draw between the schools as well. So that shows you how close it has been over the years.
"We are expecting them to come out blazing from the start," he added.
Terblanche takes his captaincy role quite serious and believes in leading the pack from the front.
"Being chosen as the first XV captain is by far the highlight of my career and is a huge honour. I believe in leading from the front and that will allow me to gain the respect of the teams. Part of that is always giving and doing my best.
"By setting that example, it shows the team what need to be done and it becomes easier for them to give their all as well. This Saturday, I would like the team to go out and just enjoy themselves. No-one knows when their last game will be, so we will be looking to give it our all," he added.
With his schooling career coming to an end, the 18-year-old will be taking his place in the family business.
