Captain's profile: Joshwin Cornelius
George captain Joshwin Cornelius is looking to make it a FNB Classic Clash double against Pacaltsdorp this weekend.
The dynamic openside flank was part of the team that beat their local rivals last year, and he is keen to make it two in a row in his last year.
The George skipper has been captain of his age-group since he arrived in Grade 8, so he feels confident that he will be able to handle the big occasion.
Cornelius will be looking to lead from the front this weekend and make a nuisance of himself at the breakdown like his hero Francois Louw.
"I love stealing ball from the opposition," he explained.
George have won four out of their five games this year, so they will be full of confidence, although Cornelius knows that his side will have to be accurate if they want to secure the win.
"Our weakness is giving away penalties unnecessarily, but we have been working on this problem so although it will be physical on Saturday I think we will come out on top," he said.
The George captain, who plans to study and play rugby at Wellington College next year, said that the key will be to take the game to Pacaltsdorp and play to their strengths out wide.
"We have a balanced side that plays an attacking brand of rugby, we have strong forwards and a lightning backline so if we play to our potential we can win," he said.
