Captain's Profile: Kurt Webster
DHS captain Kurt Webster is excited about the challenge of taking on Kearsney in their FNB Classic Clash this weekend.
It is going to be a massive game for the boys from Durban as they take on their Botha's Hill coutnerparts but Webster is confident his side will stand up and take them on.
"We are felling very positive about this weekend and we have been preparing well for the game. We worked on our counter-attacking this week and we know that it is going to be a tough game," Webster said.
Being captain is not something new for the flyhalf who has run the show since he was in Under-14.
"Captaincy is nothing new to me because I have been captain of sides since U14 and the guys that I am playing with I have known for a long time so we get along well.
"I played in this fixture last year so I know what to expect from the Kearsney boys and they are a very physical side," he mentioned.
It is important to focus on your own strengths rather than on the opposition and Webster knows where his sides strengths are.
"We are strong out wide. Our wings have got some good pace and we are strong on the counter-attack," said Webster.
The season has been up and down for the men from Durban but for Webster it has been a good one.
"I have had a good season so far and have been selected for the Kwa-Zulu Natal Craven Week side which I am very proud of," he added.
