Captain's profile: Lehan Muller
Noord Kaap skipper Lehan Muller knows his side will have to be at their best if they are to beat Diamantveld in their Kimberley derby this weekend.
The dynamic lock, who is also capable of playing in the loose trio, has called on his team to bounce back from their shock defeat from Marlow and show what they are capable of against their local rivals.
"The game against Marlow was a shocker, the guys were just not right, so we will have to be much better this weekend," he said.
Muller was part of the Noord Kaap team that managed to beat Diamantveld last year, so he expects them to throw everything at his side as they look for revenge.
"They will come out all guns blazing, and it will be about the team that wants it most on the day," he said.
The match will be played on neutral turf at the Absa Stadium in Kimberley and Muller, who has represented Griquas at Under-13, U16 and U18 level, said that it is a big honour for all the players involved.
The Noord Kaap captain has played with a lot of the Diamantveld players in Griquas teams over the years, so there will be a few points to prove in the big FNB Classic Clash.
