Captain's profile: Ruan Steyn
The schools have played each other on 23 previous occasions and the results could not have been tighter. Both schools have managed 11 victories a piece while one match ended in a draw.
Steyn, who represented South Western Districts in the 2015 Craven Week, is hopeful his side's rollercoaster season culminates in a victory that will hand his school the edge in the head to head matches.
"The schools have met 23 times before, each winning 11 and one game ending in a draw. It is easy to see that the matches and results are always tight and anything can happen on the day.
"We expect them [Punt] to come out blazing from the start but our side of experienced players, nine of whom have played since 2014, will be up for the challenge and hopefully we can continue reaching tour peak after having a rollercoaster season thus far," he said.
The scrumhalf believes the way to successfully captain a team is to not only lead by example but to also gain the respect from his team mates.
"As a captain, I lead from the front and have been working hard to gain respect from my fellow team mates. It is obviously a huge honour to lead this team and it has helped me become a very disciplined person.
"To help us attain victory against Punt we will need to go out and just enjoy ourselves and the atmosphere. I can't expect more from the team than for them to give their best because you never know when it will be your last game," he added.
While Steyn was given a taste of what it is like to play at a higher level, he will have a fair idea of what is to be expected when he heads to the University of Stellenbosch to study a BCom Accounting degree.
