Captain's profile: Stephan Botha
Marlow captain Stephan Botha has not forgotten the heavy defeat to Oakdale last year and he has his sights set on revenge.
The last time that the lanky lock was on the winning team against Oakdale was in Under-14, so he is highly motivated to finish against them on a high.
Botha is no stranger to captaincy, having led the U15 and U16 teams at Marlow in previous years, and he has been quite happy with his team's form this year.
"We have had quite a good season, our team is quite strong so we are feeling confident," he said.
Marlow are on good form having beaten St Andrews convincingly last week, so Botha feels that they have a great chance to get revenge for their heavy defeat to Oakdale last year.
"It will be about revenge for sure, we want to put it right and we should have some good support at home," he said.
However, he knows it will not be easy against a strong Oakdale side who always present a stern test.
"Both teams have strong tight fives, so it will be a big battle up front," he predicted.
Botha, who models his game on Bok lock Eben Etzebeth travelled to Durban in the holdays where he represented the EP Country Districts team at the Academy Week, but he is happy to be back with his team as they focus on finishing their season well.
