With such pride and prestige on the line, Wynberg are fortunate to not have any injuries and will field their full strength team while their bench is littered with talented players.
They will need to be at their very best though as SACS will look to put a damper on their school's celebrations.
"We have had a slow start to the season in the last two years but always finish strong at the end of the season. In saying that, our 2016 season has been quite tough, however, we have steadily improved as the season has progressed.
"We are expecting them [SACS] to come out hard and try to dominate the physical contest but we will be up for the battle. We do not have any injury concerns and are able to field a full strength team with plenty of talent that is keen to come off the bench," Mathew said.
The 18-year-old matriculant has enjoyed two seasons in the first XV jersey and is looking forward to playing his final match for Wynberg.
"I approach any game with the attitude of wanting to leave everything on the field, so it a big privilege for me to be named the captain of this team. I think it will be important for me to control the team in such a way that they listen and react to whatever command is given.
"It will be the last game representing Wynberg's first XV for some of us and is also the last chance we have to make a difference," he added.
The No.8 has enjoyed the new experiences that have come with playing the sport as it has allowed him to make new contacts. He looks forward to continuing his academic career at a university while remaining in the sport.
