Captain's profile: Willtano Seconds
Despite being only in grade 11, his first XV rugby coach had no choice handing him the captain's armband. Seconds has tons of experience, having represented the Blue Falcons at the Under-16 Grant Khomo week.
He is currently in his second year of playing in the first XV and is versatile enough to play at flyhalf and fullback.
"Representing the [Falcons] Union was a great experience and it gave me the chance to meet a lot of great guys and made some good friends. It was definitely a highlight of my rugby career.
"I think taking part in that tournament [the Grant Khomo week] had taught me a lot about leading the first XV. Being named captain of the first XV is a huge honour. I realize it is a mammoth task, but I take pride in leading this side. Our aim is to win the Classic Clash on Saturday," Seconds said.
George Secondary School have not had a good season thus far and have been struggling to gain form with a very young team. The travel to Pacaltsdorp will certainly just add to that pressure.
The captain is adamant his side will pull it through when one takes their great Classic Clash history against their neighbours into account. However, he has warned his side not to be too eager.
"Our season has not been that good. We have been struggling to get on track and build some momentum but I am hopeful that we will peak at the right time. We should not be over eager on Saturday but teaching that to a young and inexperienced side is always difficult.
"We have a great record against Pacaltsdorp and I want to keep that intact," he added.
