Classic Clash in Caledon
It's a home match for Swartberg Senior Secondary when the team from the fishing village of Hawston comes up to Caledon for an FNB Classic Clash on Saturday.
Last year the Hawston Classic Clash changed opponents. They used to play Hermanus but now play Swartberg where Hawston's children went to school before they got their own school.
Last year Hawston won a tough battle at home, keeping out the Swartberg forwards to win 13-10 with a try in the dying minutes of the match by Jason Griffiths who scored both Hawston's tries and is playing again this weekend. In fact he was on the wing in 2012 and scored a try in the last minute to enable Hawston to beat Hermanus 16-12.
This year Hawston have been having a good season, winning seven of their 10 matches.
