Classic Clashes return with a bang
The first is as soon as March 19, the last on August 27 and they are spread over the country, from big school in big cities to small schools in small towns. It involves 106 schools, making their matches so special.
Included are top matches – Affies against Grey Bloem, Selborne against Dale and Grey Bloem against Paul Roos, to mention matches between teams on the 2015 Top 20.
May is the busy month with 25 Classic Clashes.
Of the 53 matches, 12 will be televised – St John's vs Parktowen, Affies vs Grey Bloem, Kearsney vs Northwood, the Middelburgs, Maritzburg College vs Keasrney, the Bethlehem derby, DHS vs Glenwood, Ronbdebosch vcs Bishops, Oakdale vs Marlow, Selborne vs Grey PE, Grey Bloem vs Pauil Roos and Queen's vs Dale – matches with lots of tradition.
rugby365 will do its best to publish profiles of the captains of the teams, previews of the matches and match reports. How well we can do it dependents largely on the schools.
