Classic East London Clash

Each year there is a massive migration from one to the other. This year Grey goes to East London for more than just the 17 rugby matches. The two schools will even hold a joint music concert on the Thursday. There are also hockey (10 teams), tennis, chess, squash, debating and golf.  Lots of buses will be moving up from PE to East London for yet another memorable encounter.

This year the match is an FNB Classic Clash and will be televised live (Supersport channel 201).

Season So Far

Grey have won 11 of their 15 matches. They were beaten by Paul Roos, Dale, Grey Bloem and, surprise, Daniël Pienaar. Unfortunately for them they will be without their two SA Schools players, Sihle Njezula and Kwezi Mafu, who will be in Cape Town playing against Wales.

Selborne won 13 of their 17 matches. They drew with SACS and Monument and lost to Queen's and Dale, whom they subsequently beat, and Grey Bloem.
