Curro 7s kicks-off in Pretoria

The new Curro Sevens series for primary schools takes place on Saturday, 2 March at Curro Woodhill in Pretoria.

According to Willem Strauss, the tournament promoter they are looking forward to the first historic Curro Sevens tournament for primary schools. The series is based on the successful @lantic series for high schools. “The Curro Sevens series for primary schools has the potential to grow to the biggest rugby series in South Africa” said Strauss. For the participating primary school boys it is the ideal opportunity to develop their skills and the opportunity for smaller schools to compete against larger schools. The Curro Provincial U/13 tournament will again take place during the September holidays in Pretoria.

The first match kicks-off on Saturday at 08.30 with the cup final being played at 15.50. The participating schools are: Woodox, Tygerpoort, Belvedere, Louis Leipoldt, Curro Roodeplaat, Garsfontein and Elarduspark.
