Dale & Grens in intriguing clash

Two of the four unbeaten sides in the Border will up against each other this weekend. Dale College vs Grens at the CB Jennings in King William's Town.

Grens will have only one thing on their mind – to add the Heron of Dale to the Kudu of Queen's as the second College scalps in 2014.

Grens managed to win at the CB Jennings last in 1977 (37 Years ago) .

The 2014 Grens side carries the hope of most all Afrikaans speaking kids in the Border. They have spent a great deal of energy and time with this group of boys that were arguably the best at Under-16 level in the Border. This Special Group must bring back pride and honour to the rugby fields of Grens.

Grens had an excellent start to the season with a hard fought win over Queen's College. They then went on tour to Argentina and had three very good wins, scoring 117 point in three games. Clearly they are no strangers to the running game.

Dale College had a good start to the season with wins over Hudson Park, Graeme College, Parktown Boys' High, Windhoek and de Vos Malan High. The side would however always seek perfection and knows they need to work very hard in order to improve. Grens is the next hurdle and all the focus will on this weekend's game.
