DHS bag Cup Final

The two-day tournament was held at Glenwood High School and started on Friday 18.

There were 16 teams participating, which included the likes of Durban High School and Northwood.

The Cup final was contested between hosts Glenwood and DHS. Both sides produced some great rugby, but in the end, DHS secured a crucial 17-14 win over the hosts.

The Glenwood Second team participated in the Plate final, however, Northwood proved too good and marched to a comfortable 43-14 win.

Northwood second team bagged the Bowl final with a 21-17 win over Ladysmith, while the DHS second team walked away with the Shield after a 21-5 win over Ixopo.  

Next week the Sevens series move to HS Pionier in Vryheid.
