Die Brandwag Rugby Festival

Die Brandwag of Uitenhage, a keen rugby school, is again hosting its rugby festival and again there is a strong group of schools attending.
The schools coming to the week are Die Brandwag and rivals Daniël Pienaar of Uitenhage, Nico Malan of Humansdorp and Despatch plus schools from further afield – Strand, a strong side who drew 3-all with Paarl Gim recently, Hentie Cilliers of Virginia in the Free State which is always a strong rugtby school, Hoërskool Middelburg who just lost 15-6 to powerful Waterkloof last week, and Weston Senior Secondary from the Cape West Coast, the school which Springbok Enrico Januarie attended.
