Eldoraigne captain - Wynand Botha
Eldoraigne have been in some great form of late winning seven of their last 11 matches, captain Wynand Botha is hoping thier FNB Classic Clash rival, Zwarkop, will be their eighth scalp.
Having already played for the Blue Bulls under 18's lower team, Botha is an accomplished scrumhalf in the second year of first team rugby.
Botha prides himself on his consistancy as well as his ability to shoulder resposibilty, which aids him as a leader on the field.
For the captain it is all about remaing positive against all odds, this he feels will get the best out of his players.
"I really aim to keep the team positive, and to try and make sure that every player in the team is playing their best," Botha said
"I have really told the guys to go and enjoy every moment of this week’s preparation and the game."
Eldoraigne have had a good season so far, with the pinnicle being the team from Pretoria coming out of the KES festivle unbeaten.
The team for thw eekend is well balanced acroding to the captain, both in experiance and skill – however there are some key players missing.
"The experience is shared with seven youngsters in the team, but we will definitely miss four major players in our team due to injury, he added"
"Which is a great shame not only for the team but also for three of them because they are matric pupils and this would have been their last FNB Classic Clash!"
The results between the two rivals has been mixed with Eldoraigne loosing in 2012 and 2013 but coming back well last time out to smash them 87-0.
