Exciting U15 festival in Paarl

The festival was created in 2005 with the aim to make new friends and to enjoy the game together, all in the spirit of good sportsmanship.

There were 16 participating schools from all around South Africa. Apart from the Western Province Schools, there were sides from Durban, Krugersdorp, Pretoria, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.

The two-day festival produced some surprising results. Paul Roos Gimnasium suffered a narrow 12-17 to Monument, while the hosts went down 5-12 against Garsfontein on Day one.

Day two saw the Paarl Gim and Paarl Boys' high redeemed themselves with wins over Monument and Framesby, respectively.
