Fichardtpark in Clover

This weekend roughly 5,000 boys and girls from 55 schools will be taking part in the 11th Clover Sports Day at Hoërskool Fichardtpark.

There will be netball, hockey, golf, shooting, chess, tennis and, of course, rugby.

There will be 15 rugby matches.

Apart from the Free State, there are teams from the Eastern Cape, Griquas and the Griffons. There is a large enough number of top teams to make for an interesting day’s watching. The match between Noord-Kaap and Bethlehem Voortrekker could just be a thriller.
