FNB Top 20 - 10 May 2011

Another week has flown by another weekend of many schoolboy matches and another FNB Top 20 that will not be the same as the week before’s.

There have been some interesting results – Selborne and Grey Bloem’s draw, Florida’s victory over Monnas, KES and Glenwood’s beating schools above them, Waterkloof’s massive win over Marais Viljoen and a draw between Paul Roos and Rondebosch. Paarl Boys’ High beat Bishops and Grey PE Wynberg, the latter by a big score.

All of those have produced shake-ups.

We also have schools who either did not play or did not send in results. That’s a tough one but we really should reward those who play. It’s hard on a school like Noord-Kaap who find it hard to get fixtures – no invitation to play against a school at the Wildeklawer tournament in their own town and now a match cancelled by Landboudal.

After a lot of thought, we produce our third FNB Top 20 of 2011.
