FNB Top 20 - 11 August 2009

The number of matches is shrinking fast but still both the Greys, Glenwood, Waterkloof, Outeniqua, Selborne Die Brandwag, Bishops, Die Brandwag, AHS Kroonstad, Boland Landbou, Dr EG Jansen, Drostdy, Goudveld, Ben Vorster, Centurion, and Framesby were all in action.

The big defeats were those for Grey High, Bishops and Die Brandwag. The winners in those three matches were Framesby, Tygerberg and Nico Malan.

There were also good wins for Glenwood over Maritzburg College for the fifth time in a row, the Rooiskool, Waterkloof and Boland Landbou – and, of course, Grey College won big. The interesting match this coming weekend is in Bloemfontein when Glenwood come to call.

We continue our policy of rewarding those who played and some may have shifted down only to make room for those who have played.

That means that some sides will drop down and perhaps altogether but at the end we again try to draw up a Top 20 to cover the whole season.
