FNB Top 20 - 15 August

Not without change

There are fewer matches now but there have also been some top flight matches – great schools going head to head with each other with a few surprising results which have produced changes in our FNB Top 20, where so many great rugby schools run each other so close.

At this stage a single result can produce ructions just because teams are so close and because we want to reward success on the playing field.

Some teams are not playing all that much, which means that it is hard to keep them in place.

Amongst the telling results were Glenwood's victory over Grey Bloem, Marlow's victory over Outeniqua, Waterkloof's victory over Monument and Graeme's victory over Muir. And then big wins for Affies, Bishops, Paarl Boys' High and Boland Landbou.

And there are some big matches to come, especially for high-riding Paul Roos who play Grey Bloem this week and Marlow next week.
