FNB Top 20 - 16 August 2011

There were fewer matches but some top ones, involving the top sides, some of them in organised competitions, some playing for the sheer thrill of it, lots of them under pressure.

There were some big wins – for Affies, Noord-Kaap, HTS Middelburg, Oakdale, Outeniqua and above all Waterkloof.

Then there were other matches of considerable significance – Grey College vs Glenwood, Grey High vs Selborne, Paul Roos vs Drostdy, Florida vs Kempton Park and Bethlehem Voortrekker vs Hentie Cilliers. This has enabled HTS Middelburg and Bethlehem Voortrekker to get up the ladder.

We are leaving KES out of contention this week as they have played only once this term.  This is temporary as their positions will be reconsidered at the end of the season.

Again we have tried to reward teams that are playing, which has meant that is possible for a team to drop a place or two without having played.
