FNB Top 20 - 18 May

There are changes to the FNB Top 20 right at the top, where a small change can move a team more places than one would expect.

Again we have applied the principle of rewarding playing teams, though that will become harder to apply as teams are prepared for Craven Week and in the long mid-year holiday school gives way to soccer.

Paarl Gim now move into second spot after their massive win over Wynberg Boys’ High, traditionally a strong rugby school.

This week we welcome Maritzburg College into the FNB Top 20 for the first time this year.

Teams knocking on the door this week are Die Brandwag of Uitenhage, Nelspruit, Marlow, EG Jansen, who had a big win, Sentraal of Bloemfontein who surprised Jim Fouché in their FNB Classic Clash and Queen’s who are almost there.
